Keep our consumer cop on the financial beat
When we helped create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in the wake of the Great Recession, it was to help restore safety and confidence for Americans in their finances. And our watchdog on Wall Street has been getting that job done.
But now, the new administration and some leaders in Congress are trying to weaken protections and eliminate the agency that meant to protect us.
We need to tell our Senators to stand up and protect our consumer cop.
