Tell your state legislators: Support producer responsibility to tackle plastic waste

In 2017, Washington residents and businesses generated the equivalent of 112 pounds of plastic packaging waste per person per year, and only 17% of that waste actually gets recycled. The plastics manufacturing industry has known for decades that only a fraction of their product ever ends up getting recycled, but it continues to fill the world with so much plastic that it has become virtually inescapable.

Tell your state legislators that it's time we shift the responsibility of our plastic waste problem to the companies that profit from selling us plastic.
